Tampa Bay Hurricane Expo
When: Saturday, May 31st 10am Where: Museum of Science and Industry Why: Don’t be in denial that hurricane season is upon us, instead be prepared. Visit MOSI for an informative event that will include 50 vendors, educational seminars, entertainment and even emergency vehicles on site. www.mosi.org

When: Saturday, May 31st, 9-2 Where: Passe-A-Grille, St. Pete Beach, between 9th and 10th Avenues Why: If you are headed to the beach, make sure to swing by this art event that features fused glass objects, jewelry, paintings, metal art and more.
Taste of Pinellas
When: Saturday, May 31st, Noon Where: Vinoy Park, St. Petersburg Why: Annual food and music festival with “tastes” from 50 area restaurants, beer garden, Kid Zone, ice sculpture contest and even fireworks! Live music will also be included in this FREE event!
Free FridaysWhen: Friday, June 6th Where: Kid City, The Children’s Museum of Tampa Why: The first Friday of every month from 5-8 pm is free at the Children’s Museum! Enjoy activities, entertainment and crafts, plus this month’s theme, ‘Celebrate Kid City’.
John Levique Pirate Days
When: June 6th (3-11) 7th (12-10) 8th (10-6) Where: St. John’s Pass Why: This annual festival celebrating the founding of St. John’s Pass is a fun, family festival filled with activities for every age. Summer Safari Night
When: Friday, June 6th from 5-8:30 Where: Lowry Park Zoo Why: The zoo stays open late with FREE rides after 5 pm. Special animal encounters and promotions throughout the zoo. This event is free with ticket purchase and free for members.

When: Tuesday June 10th-Wednesday June 11th 11 am and 6 pm Where: Ruth Eckerd Hall Why: Join Diego in his Great Jaguar Rescue in this high-action, live show. Based on the popular Nick Jr. character. To purchase tickets visit: rutheckerdhall.com
Dinosaurs!
When: Opens June 13th Where: Museum of Science and Industry Why: For those in your life who love dinosaurs, you couldn’t ask for much more than this exhibit premiering June 13th at MOSI. This 5,000 square foot exhibit features 8 huge animatronic dinosaurs and 5 robotic Ice-Age mammals that will spring to life and bring you back 150 million years ago. Prepared Child Birth Class
When: June 21st, 9:30-5:30 Where: St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital, Classroom 1 Why: This one day crash course will help prepare couples for the demands of labor. Although relaxation is not covered, a wealth of information for new moms and dads to-be will be covered including: what to expect in the third trimester labor, delivery and postpartum care.
