When: Wednesday, January 2nd-Sunday January 6th Where: St. Pete Times Forum Why: Because the ‘Greatest Show on Earth’ is still that---a show filled with acrobatics, wild animals, clowns and excitement. Purchase online tickets for an amazing show at www.ringling.com. Show times are Wed-Fri 7:30 pm, Saturday, 11:30, 3:30 and 7:30 and Sunday, 1 and 5 pm. Ticket prices range from $85 to just $15.

When: Friday, January 4th Where: The Children’s Museum Why: The first Friday of every month from 5-8 pm is free at the Children’s Museum! Enjoy activities, entertainment and crafts, plus a monthly theme.

When: Saturday, January 5th Where: Home Depot, Gandy Blvd. Where: Bring your little builder to Home Depot from 9-12 to participate in a builder’s workshop. Why: Kids will love building something with their own hands. A true confidence building activity for both boys and girls. Plus, kids get a certificate of completion, a Home Depot apron, and a pin for each project they complete. Come out and help your child build something special for their room.

The Polar Express
When: Through January 15th Where: Museum of Science and Industry Why: The children’s classic novel about a young boy’s visit to the North Pole is beautifully transformed to the big screen (the real big screen!) on the IMAX Dome Theatre. When: Friday, January 4th and Saturday, January 5th Where: The Tampa Theatre Why: Already nominated for a truckload of Golden Globe awards, Atonement tells a 1935 love story already being hailed as one of the best since Titanic. Starring Keira Knightley, who has been nominated for Best Actress for her role in the film. Friday, 7:30 & 10:00, Saturday, 2:30, 5:00, 7:30 & 10:00. The film is also showing during the week and next weekend.
