PAT’S Let’s Get Physical
When: Thursday, June 19th, 10am-11:30am Where: Hyde Park Methodist Church Why: Learn some “fresh and creative” ways to have fun with the kids this summer. Parents as Teachers or PAT will ensure a fun-filled morning for all.
Summer Safari Nights
When: Friday, June 20th Where: Lowry Park Zoo Why: The zoo stays open late with free rides after 5 pm. Special animal encounters and food are available too! Visit www.lowryparkzoo.com
Baby Bungalow Wee Play Class
When: Mondays Where: Bayshore Baptist Church, MacDill Why: Come out and try a wee-play class (first time is free!) at Bayshore Baptist Church. This class is designed to help little ones and their caregivers interact in playful exercise together. Wee-play is $4 per class or $30 for ten classes. Caregivers with babies that can crawl meet from 10am-11am and babies who are not yet able to crawl start at 11:15am.

When: All Summer Where: Center Place Fine Arts and Civic Association, Brandon Why: This summer, check out the Children’s Workshops at the Center Place in Brandon. Workshops like decorative painting, drawing for kids, mad science class, art adventures for mommy and me and clay class are just a few of the artistic options offered here. The Backyardigans Live, The Tale of the Mighty Knights
When: July 26th-27th 11am, 2pm and 5pm Where: Carol Morsani Hall Why: The popular Nick TV show comes to the stage in an adventure to face a dragon and return a prized egg to King Pablo. Tickets can be purchased at: www.tbpac.com
