When: Ongoing, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm Where: Baby Bungalow, South Tampa Why: If you have a child under 4, the Bungalow is the place to be every Friday morning. Their FREE, unstructured playgroup will help with your little ones social and emotional development.
Summer Safari Night
When: Friday, July 25th from 5:00 pm -8:30 pm Where: Lowry Park Zoo Why: The zoo stays open late with FREE rides after 5 pm. Special animal encounters and promotions throughout the zoo. This event is free with ticket purchase and free for members.

When: July 26th-27th 11:00 am, 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm Where: Carol Morsani Hall Why: And speaking of the Backyardigans, they will be on stage in an adventure to face a dragon and return a prized egg to King Pablo. If you haven’t yet secured tickets, go to: www.tbpac.com
Looney Tunes at the Tampa Theatre
When: Sunday, July 27th, 3:00 pm Where: The Tampa Theatre Why: Classic Warner Brothers cartoons will be shown this Sunday at the beautiful & historic Tampa Theatre. A series of 12 original cartoons featuring kid favorites Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester the Cat and more. Eight dollars per person.

Kid ID Service
When: Friday, August 1st and Friday, August 8th Where: 1st-Friendship Park, Bay to Bay Blvd, 8th-Benito Activity Center, 10065 Cross Creek Blvd. Why: The City of Tampa and the Parks and Recreation Department have joined forces with Feldman Orthodontics and Kid ID to host several data-gathering sessions in case of your child being reported missing. With parental permission, digital photos, electronic fingerprints and other important info. will be taken and stored electronically. A DNA profile kit can also be included for a minimal fee. Please contact Ingri Pagan at Feldman Orthodontics & (813) 326-9771 for questions. Start time for both days is 9:30 am.

When: Saturday, August 9th Where: Museum of Science and Industry Why: From 10:00 am 4:00pm come out to MOSI for a fair designed to prepare you and your child for the coming school year. This event is free to MOSI members and only $10 for non-members. Ticket includes admission to the fair, MOSI, Kids Fun Zone, Kids in Charge, and the exhibit, Dinosaurs.
