For those subscribers that loved Baby News Bits’ Meet.Greet.Sit. event, listen up! Sitter Soirées, a new babysitter/parent matchmaking company, has partnered with BNB to bring you a calendar full of one-hour soirées designed to connect you with the right sitter for your family. Here’s the scoop: Pre-interviewed and carefully selected sitters are invited to attend the soirée. Only 15 parents and 15 sitters (a minimum of 10 sitters guaranteed) will be at each soiree, keeping each event intimate and productive. This is a time and cost effective way to interview qualified sitters. Additionally, every participant goes home with the “little black book of sitters”; this includes sitter tips and resumes of each sitter in attendance (including picture of each sitter for easy referral later, references, and contact information). Sitter Soirées holds these events at fabulous retail spots that offer special shopping discounts for participants and some great coupons/ discounts from participating sponsors. The cost to register for a Sitter Soirées event is $60 ($50 if you register with a friend) and includes everything mentioned above. Baby News Bits subscribers receive an additional 10% off any parent registration! (Just enter code BNB during check out) Coming up are events on September 10th from 10:30-11:30 am at Kina Koture in Downtown Dunedin and Tuesday, September 16th from 7-8pm at Aveda Level 2 Salon in Hyde Park.
