South Tampa Pediatric Dentistry
One stop care for all of your child's pediatric
dentistry needs
break
Did
you know that the American Academy of Pediatrics and
the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry both
advocate that a child's first visit to the dentist
should occur within 6 months of the eruption of the
first baby tooth and prior to his/her 1st
birthday? This early visit allows
your child to establish a "dental home" and allows the
dentist to focus on true primary prevention of cavities
and other oral diseases and conditions. It also gives
you a place to go if your child should fall and injure
his/her teeth, as toddlers learning to walk often do.

With so much focus on picking the right pediatrician
before baby even arrives, the importance of pediatric
dentistry can easily get overlooked (hey, now that
baby's here, were busy)! That's why we like Dr.
Lesley---one stop care for all your child's pediatric
dentistry needs. Her logo may be kid-friendly and
whimsical, but Dr. Lesley Rudolph's dentistry
background is nothing short of the real-deal. A
graduate of the UF College of Dentistry with a
certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Lesley is also
a former elementary school teacher from Independent Day
School in Carrollwood allowing her a unique perspective
when treating tots. A member of the Craniofacial Team
at St. Joseph's, Dr. Lesley is well-equipped to handle
the pediatric needs of her patients from their exciting
first visit all the way to angst-filled teen years.
Currently, she is the only American Board of Pediatric
Dentistry's certified pediatric dentist in South Tampa!
Dr. Lesley's “question and answer” pamphlet is the
encyclopedia of dentistry need-to-know for parents; How
can I prevent my child from getting cavities? What can
I do to help with teething? Is it okay for my child to
use a pacifier or suck their thumb? With a treatment
philosophy of making the “first visit an easy, fast,
positive experience, so your child will want to return
in the future”, Dr. Lesley is sure to receive your
child's radiant smiles for many years to come. South
Tampa Pediatric Dentistry, 3702 Swann Avenue in South
Tampa, 813. 874.0111, www.tampapedo.com

"Dr.
Lesley was amazing when it came to helping me with my 3
year old daughter's teeth. She had a tooth that
had no enamal on it and could have been diagnosed had I
gone in MUCH earlier to see a dentist rather than what
my peditrician had recommended. She fixed my
daughter's "princess tooth" and my daughter still talks
about "Dr. Reindeer"! Dr. Lesley is great with
children and truly wants to make sure all children's
teeth remain as healthy as possible!"
