Eating out with children can be an almost impossible task but with some helpful tips it can become a little easier and less of a hassle. The preparation starts before you ever leave the house . . .

A few tips to follow
1. Call the restaurant ahead of time for reservations. Let them know you are coming with children, their ages & reserve highchairs or buster seats. If they don’t have a children seating accommodations it’s a sign they are not kid friendly.

2. If you need to bring a stroller confirm the aisle is large enough to accommodate one.

3. It is best to go early no latter than 5 or 6 P.M. before the restaurant gets too crowded & a few hours before bedtime.

4. Confirm the restaurant’s menu has something for everyone.

5. Order as soon as you arrive.

6. Once seated, remove unnecessary cutlery, glasses, plates from children’s arms reach.

7. Bring activities and toys for distraction.
