After relocating to Tampa from New York City, Licette felt socially and environmentally challenged. Being a stay-at-home mom with a five month old made it even more difficult. Searching online for local websites that would provide the resources needed as a new parent, lead her to the creation of babynewsbits.com. She soon teamed up with a new local friend, Shannon, who has a great nose for scooping out the trends. With Shannon's background in early childhood education and Licette's brand marketing experience the plan was set in motion to embark on the venture together.
